The action starts straight from one of the series' episodes, on which Albedo has been double-crossed by the villain Vilgax and stolen Ben Tennyson’s DNA-altering alien device -the Omnitrix- from him. Transforming into the mighty Ultimate Humongosaur with his own superior device -the Ultimatrix-, Albedo fights his former ally, but gets overwhelmed and -in the show- captured.

At the very last second, the omnipotent Alien X gets activated, and Albedo is able to escape. Transported to a space between dimensions, he has no choice but to make a deal with the all-powerful beings Bellicus and Serena after their ominous warning of a threat which will lead to the end of the Multiverse.
Albedo will need access to the Plumber's (kinda like space sheriffs) resources, which means replacing Ben on Earth, playing the hero, and deceiving those who are close to the real Ben. Gwen, Rook Shar, Charmcaster, and a Gwen from an alternate universe seem to be the key to saving the world... or to dominate it.
